No, afternoon commercial balloon flights are not conducted in Cappadocia for safety reasons. Only morning flights are approved by the Civil Aviation Authority.

Wear comfortable, layered clothing. Morning air can be cool but the balloon's burner produces heat. Wear sneakers or boots, high heels are inappropriate. For spring and fall, pants, long-sleeve shirt, jacket or coat are suitable. In summer months, light pants and sweatshirt or cardigan are sufficient. In winter months, heavy coat, gloves, beanie, and scarf are necessary.

48. Should I wear a hat?

You can wear a hat or beanie, but may be asked to remove it during launch due to burner heat. It should be well-secured as it could blow away in wind.

49. Are sunglasses necessary?

Sunglasses can be helpful during sunrise, especially if you are not taking photos. However, not required.

50. What should I bring?

Bring camera or phone, sunglasses, water bottle, ID, and voucher. Bags should be small as there is limited space in the basket. Avoid bringing valuables.
